ASSISTED LYMPHATIC THERAPY
ASSISTED LYMPHATIC THERAPY
Detox. Balance. Restore.
Creating balance in your immune system starts with detoxifying the body. Assisted Lymphatic Therapy (ALT) assists by stimulating the proper flow and drainage of the lymphatic system using a gentle, light-touch, non-invasive technique. It is designed to support the body’s natural lymphatic system. The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in immune function, fluid balance, and the removal of toxins and waste from the body. When this system becomes sluggish or congested, it can lead to various health concerns, including inflammation, fatigue, and compromised immunity.
ALT uses vibrational, light, and electrostatic energy delivered through a handheld device (XP2) to stimulate lymph flow more effectively than manual techniques alone. By encouraging lymphatic drainage, this therapy helps reduce swelling, improve circulation, and promote overall detoxification and wellness.
ALT is safe for most individuals and can be a valuable addition to holistic wellness routines. Sessions are typically calming and can leave clients feeling lighter and more energized.
-
Assisted Lymphatic Therapy is performed with an XP2 machine that uses two wands that pass slowly over the body, breaking down congested lymph through a combination of vibration, light and electrical waves. Once congested lymph has been broken down, it can be drained, waste can be eliminated and the flow of lymph can resume.
-
In preparation for your Assisted Lymphatic Therapy treatment, please come to your appointment without any body lotion, deodorant, or fragrance, with DRY hair and well hydrated.
-
Adverse side effects are not typically reported; however mild nausea, headache, and fatigue can occur due to the process of detoxification. Your detox phase can last 24-48 hrs.
Here are some suggestions to help with detox symptoms:
Drink lots of water/electrolytes
Exercise or walk for 30 minutes
Sweat/Infared Suana
